Meg usually leaves meat out in the sink in the morning for whatever meal she's cooking that day. Except yesterday she didn't realize how long her TWO jobs were gonna keep her away from home. So Mister Mom decided to grill some chicken!
I was very domestic yesterday, doing laundry and scrubbing things. This is coming at a time when I've been watching Mad Men Season 1, a show that notoriously puts women back into the housewife role. The men come home, and expect everything to be laid out for them. And that's what Meg got yesterday. Maybe I should get myself a frilly apron. Maybe in a color that brings out my eyes. Then I could get Meg a fedora and a briefcase, and fix up a scotch for when she comes home.
